A Tool Lanyard is a tether that is designed to act as an intermediate device between the tool or object and the anchor point. They allow a tool to be used whilst maintaining a direct connection that will arrest the fall if they are accidentally dropped in use. A properly tethered tool ensures the safety of those working around and below you, improves efficiency simply by ensuring that tools are handy and accessible and protects your tools by preventing impact damage when dropped.

This RGTL6-3 Elasticated Tool Lanyard comes with a 130mm choke loop one end and a 10mm swivel double action karabiner at the other. CONNECTING TOOLS USING THE CHOKE LOOP
This Tool Lanyard is designed for small Powertools or hand tools with anchor loops or closed handles.
It chokes around the connection point by wrapping the loop end around it and threading the connector end through it. The other end can be connected to a suitable anchor point such as a Safety Harness or Workbelt.

The Tool Lanyard has a steel ring (Belt Loop)sewn into the webbing next to the choke loop.
If a Tool is connected using the Karabiner it can be parked in the Belt Loop when not in use.

• Connect to a reliable anchor: Attach the Tool Lanyard to a solid anchor point on your person (such as a work belt or harness loop-max. 3kg) or a fixed structure.
